Brand new for Spring 2023, this delightful former Piggery has gone through a complete transformation over the winter to create a stunning luxury cottage.

 

Situated on a quiet country lane nestled into the woods in this stunning countryside valley, The Pigsty and Spa Garden offers everything you need and so much more for your escape to Cornwall. After exploring the beautiful county of Cornwall, you can return to tranquility and relax in the garden with woodland views, take a sauna or unwind in the wood fired hot tub with the sound of the Cornish countryside as your soundtrack. There is even an outdoor cold shower to invigorate the senses after your sauna experience. It does not get much more romantic than this.

 

The cottage has been fully renovated and finished to an extremely high standard, offering a delightful snug area and kitchen diner complimented by a modern extension housing the bedroom and stylish ensuite shower room. The shaker style kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, oven, hobs, toaster and kettle along with crockery, glassware, cutlery, bake and cookware for use during your time with us. The kitchen diner has underfloor heating and a lovely sit up dining table with woodland views. The super cosy snug has a log burner, comfy sofa that you can sink into, TV with Freeview channels and even a record player with a selection of favorites to enjoy. 

The luxury bedroom with underfloor heating is situated in a brand-new extension and also offers woodland views. There is a King-size wrought iron bed with a super comfy mattress, dressed in high quality bedding and linen, perfect for a lay in. The chic monochrome designed en suite shower room offers a rain fall shower head, toiletries, heated towel rail and natural daylight. Guests will enjoy oversized fluffy towels and bath robes.

A large private seating area, with garden and outdoor lighting, enables guests to relax and enjoy this secluded sun trap. The Spa Garden offers a sauna, outdoor cold shower and wood fired hot tub. Two bags of logs, a supply of kindling, lighters and matches are provided for the hot tub. One bag of logs and kindling is also provided for the log burner. Additional wood can be purchased locally or from the hosts.

Guests are welcome to explore the grounds which includes 6 acres of orchards, woodland and meadows bordered by the River Porth. Dedicated off street parking is available. The Pigsty can accommodate a maximum of two adults. Children and pets are strictly not allowed.
