If you want somewhere secluded where you can relax and forget everything for a few days this is the place for you. A beautiful converted old mill with everything that you could need, comfortable superking size bed, and a lovely big bath. We enjoyed the wood burning hot tub in the evenings. Peace and quite it was wonderful, we hope to go again, thank you Dean and Stephen for such an amazing place to stay

The local area is picture perfect and we’d thoroughly recommend a circular walk from Porth Reservoir and takes in beautiful Tregoose Old Mill as a sight. Absolutely beautiful, relaxing, tranquil, welcoming, peaceful, perfect weekend spent at Dean and Stephen's wonderful Hideaway. It truly is a Hideaway from the world! I don't think I've ever slept in a more comfortable bed, and the outdoor hot tub was a favorite!
What a stunning part of the world - it felt like we were living in a dream for the whole weekend. And thank you so much for your homemade scones and eggs!

This is a wonderful place to stay, we can not recommend enough. We felt like new people afterward. They have created such a special space - it's so nice to find somewhere that takes pride in creating a great place to stay. They aren't looking to make a quick buck on a rental; they truly have created a thoughtful space to get away and rejuvenate. The mattress was comparable to a five star hotel. They have six acres for walks, and we spent a delightful afternoon with wine and books in their orchard. Thank you again for having us!

The Hideaway is a stylish retreat that provides the perfect place to relax. From arrival, our experience was excellent. Both Dean and Stephen were great hosts, welcoming and attentive. The Hideaway is immaculately clean and beautifully decorated; a perfect space for two. The outside space is great for drinks and their large gardens (including a private orchard) is perfect for a stroll or picnic. The Hideaway is a wonderful, relaxing spot and I highly recommend a visit.

Tregoose Old Mill is just wonderful. A beautiful cottage in calm and peaceful surroundings...the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of busy city life. Dean and Stephen’s attention to detail is commendable, from the fully resourced kitchen to the snuggliest bed...fresh eggs and scones to a huge relaxing bathtub, soft dressing gowns and a warming fire...we loved it all! The location is perfect and only a 10 minute drive to the main town. We will definitely be returning!

Relaxing weekend in fantastic surroundings, enjoying great local food as recommended by our hosts.
This property was beautifully decorated, tastefully furnished and in a lovely location. The kitchen facilities were all you could need and the bedding was extremely comfortable - very cosy. Our hosts were so welcoming and accommodating (we changed our arrival and departure time and they were so understanding - thank you!). The facilities were amazing, everything is of a very high quality - including the delicious eggs, home-baked scones and muffins - such a nice touch.

What an Amazing find!! Beautiful location and a Very nicely decorated Shepard hut. Great location- 10/15 min drive into Newquay Beautiful spot, very private with just the cows and sheep to be heard! We only stayed at the wriggly tin for one night but wish we had stayed for longer. The location was perfect, the Shepard’s hut is flawless. It was great to put our phones down and relax. So peaceful and relaxing. The shepherds hut was incredibly comfy and loved using the outdoor bath. Only 15 mins drive from centre of Newquay but completely out in the sticks, perfect location. We had a wonderful stay for our mini moon.

Theres not many places that make you feel so relaxed and away from the hustle and bustle of life as this.

Dean and Stephen made our visit to Cornwall so special. The Wriggly Tin is so well thought out and designed - they really have thought of everything and it shows. We loved the rustic, wood-fired hot tub and the cosy feel of the hut itself. The outdoor area is beautiful and serene which made for a perfect escape from the city. Location is also excellent, just a stone's throw away from Padstow, Watergate bay and the surfing beaches around Newquay. Dean and Stephen provided some great recommendations of things to do in the area which was very helpful. They also very kindly provided us with homemade scones, clotted cream, jam, Cornish milk and eggs from their chickens which were delicious. We would definitely recommend the Wriggly Tin if you are looking for a tranquil, secluded, cosy escape to Cornwall.

WOW! Where to begin... the scones, clotted cream & jam on arrival, the fresh, just laid double yolk duck eggs, the luxury sheets & robes... we could go on about this incredibly special stay at the tin. From the fittings in the tin, to the cookware, and the hot tub, everything was of an extremely high standard. We've never stayed in a place where we were rushing back just to enjoy the accommodation. A perfect little piece of rural paradise! The Wriggly Tin was perfect for a weekend away to celebrate our wedding anniversary - it was in a beautiful setting and within easy reach of fabulous beaches and amenities, and was well-equipped and beautifully kitted out. The bed was very comfortable and the wood-fired hot tub was fantastic - perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand, listening to the birds and the stream. We felt very welcomed by the lovely hosts and the extra little touches, such a freshly baked scones on arrival, made it even better! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

My partner and I had a 3 night stay at the wriggly tin and everything about this place is amazing. It is very private with some friendly sheep and ducks as your neighbours. Smooth check in and we were greeted with some homemade scones and freshly laid eggs which were both great! Great communication both before and during our stay. The wriggly tin is so cosy and the bed is fantastic. The wood fired hot tub is superb. The place has some lovely touches with great attention to detail. The place is around a 15 minute drive into Newquay where we ate at some lovely places recommended by Stephen. All in all the perfect getaway and would recommend to anyone thinking about staying here!

We were the first guests to stay at The Wriggly Tin. It’s situated on private property with ducks and chickens and sheep around you. In a very secluded spot we could only hear the animals quietly in the background throughout the stay. The styling is beautiful and the place is very cosy. Perfect for a getaway from the city. There is outdoor seating with a fire pit and an outdoor hot tub which is easy to use. When we arrived we had scones freshly baked and milk, eggs and clotted cream (which was delicious) with jam and tea/coffee. The place is about a 10 minute drive to the town centre you will need a car to get around. We stayed for 3 nights and could of stayed another just to have a day at the The Wriggly Tin. Bring a good book and have a relax! Highly recommend and have been asked by many friends about the place.

The barn has everything you could possibly need, plus a few added extras! Communication from Dean was always speedy but not too intrusive. It is impossible to fault this place. We had an amazing stay in this stunning barn. Everything is perfect from the worlds comfiest bed and fluffy towels down to the rubber duckies in the bath. It’s in a great spot, not far from the local beaches but away from the hustle and bustle. The hosts are great, easy to contact, very friendly and helpful. The home made scones and fresh eggs upon arrival are a lovely touch. Would definitely recommend!

2 nights just wasn’t enough!! Everything about the barn is perfect, clean and spacious and great thought has gone into the interior design. The bed is like sleeping on a cloud!
The homemade scones and other bits left in the fridge for us were just lovely and the hosts are easy to contact and incredibly helpful.
